"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I'm Diplomat James Owusu, I was assigned to deliver boxes to your country
of residence. Initially,the boxes was recovered by the Debt Reconciliation
and tax forces and your name, address and telephone number was tagged on
three trunk boxes out of 12 trunk boxes they recovered, that is the main
reason why I'm contacting you to reconfirm your details so I can be able
to make the delivery without delay.

categorically the delivery was authorized by the UN assisted program in
conjunction with Presidential Task Force, the Ministry of Finance as well
as Ghana government monitoring agency BNI. It was reported by the
monitoring unit that you have been dealing with some dismissed tout
/impostors who claim to have been mandated by the government and other
authority to deliver some trunk boxes to you. It was reported by the

I directed to inform you that those people you are dealing with have
nothing to offer you, this is simply because they have no access to those

cease communicating these people because they are not going to deliver the
trunk boxes to you,rather you will continue paying and receive nothing in
return. I'm mandated by the above offices to deliver the boxes to you.

Meanwhile, I'm presently at Dulles International Airport (IAD) Washington
DC,for the delivery of the trunk boxes as mandated, before I can complete
the delivery, you have to reconfirm the following information so as to
ensure that I am dealing with the right person.
