"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please, I seek your cooperation in this business. My name is Ahmed Abdallah, one of the leaders of the Libyan rebels fighting to end
Muammar Gadaffi's 42 years in power. I am the leader of the rebels who captured Seif al Islam, one of the son's of Gadaffi on 21st August
in Tripoli.

I contacted you because I have a very good business proposal that might interest you. If you recalled, the news of Seif al Islam
capture was already on air before he later surfaced. What happened is that the young man offered us the sum of US$100,000,000.00 cash, and we have
no option than to let him go after all, he is not our major target. As the leader of the group, I took US$35,000,000.00 which is currently
deposited with one of security company here in Africa, but can be cargoed to you if you are interested in receiving the funds for me,
pending when things finally calm down here.

Please, you must not disclose this important and confidential information to anybody no matter the relationship. If you are
interested to assist me in receiving the funds, get back to me with your full informations so that we can advance further.

I expect to hear from you soonest.

Mr. Ahmed Abdallah.
