"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENT AND PAYMENT OF FOREIGN CONTRACTORS
 
Pursuant of the Federal Executive Council Decision and Subsequent approval by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), Managing Director/ CEO Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) Mr. Augustine Oniwon and the release of funds by the Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, We wish to inform you that approval has been given and funds released for the payment all contractors and beneficiaries like you that has lost money due to fraudulent officials in the past.
 
I wish to further inform you that all matters relating to verification, information and documentation including payment of all beneficiaries are now under my control and supervision. This development is necessitated by the due process policy of the present administration to ensure accountability and transparency in the disbursement and payment to all defrauded victims and contractors who have not recieved payment since the inception of this government.
 
A Telex Signal has been sent to the office of the Chairman Contract award Division NNPC to effect your payment  and eleven other beneficiaries within; the next seventy two (72) hours. You are advised immediately to contact Dr.Chika Omon, on Tel: 2348163725312, Email: dr.chikaomon@frbu-gov.com for the immediate transfer on your long overdue contract/inheritance payment.
 
This office will ensure that adequate attention and priority is given to your file. Finally you are advised to adhere to the instruction of the Chairman Contract award Division NNPC to enable his office release your long overdue contract sum to you within the stipulated time.
 
If you fail to comply with the above notice, you will not be considered for payment as instructed.
