"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good Day

Dear One,

Good Day,

Compliments
of the season to you and family good a thing to write you. I have a
proposal for you this however is not mandatory nor will I in any manner
compel you to honor against your will.

 I am Kokou Toure  age
24years old and  my younger sister Liza two of us is  the only  children
of our  late  father Chief  and Mrs Kokou  Kwame Toure, our  father was
a highly reputable business  magnet (A COCOA  and Gold & Diamond
Merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory Coast Abidjan during his
days. It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips abroad on 12th.February 2009.Though his
sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who traveled with him at that time. But God knows the truth.

My
mother died when I was just 8 years old,and since then my father took me
and my only younger   sister  Liza  so special. Before his death in the
hospital bed in France he disclosed to me secretly that he has the sum
of  Three million, seven hundred thousand United States Dollars Only
($3.700,000,00)  in a Trunk Box with a  Security/Diplomatic Company in Accra Ghana West Africa  the Trunk Box was deposited as family valuables not as money because it was On inspected during the day of deposit.

He further told me that he deposited the Trunk Box  in his name, and
finally made a written agreement with the  Security/Diplomatic  Company
that the  Trunk Box that contains the money in it  should not be
released to me in case of death not until when l am at the age of 26yrs
or in any emergency case that an experience foreign  investor  whom i
will choose to  provide as the next of kin i am,  will be the new
foreign beneficiary of the Trunk Box  and he  can stand and claim out
the trunk Box from the security company custody.

I am just
24 years old and really don't know what to do.Now I want an account
overseas where I can transfer this money. This is because me and my
younger sister have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant
political crisis here in Ivory coast that have resulted to war.

The death of our  father
actually has brought sorrow to our  life's.
I am in a sincere desire
of your humble assistance in this regards also your suggestions and
ideas will be highly regarded.

Now permit us  to ask these few
questions to you.

1. Can you honestly help and take us like your  Children?
2. Can we completely trust you?
3. What percentage of
the total amount in question will be good for you after the money is in
your account?

Please Consider this and get back to us  as soon as
possible.

Thank you so much.
My sincere regards,

 Kokou
And Liza  Toure.
