"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Appeal for an urgent assistance.

Dear Sir/Madam

Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you, I got your E-mail address/profile through my internet search from your country national chamber of commerce when I was searching for a good and trust worthy person I can do business with and by the recommendation i must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere business.

My name is Miss Beatrice Anozie, the only daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Anozie. My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant here in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin Republic; he was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their outings on business. My mother died on the 20th October 1988 and my father took me so special because I am the only daughter and my mother was no more. Before the death of my father on 29th November 2006 in a private hospital here in Republic of Benin, he secretly called me on his bedside, when I sat down to listen to him, he started crying that I am too young to be living alone, that I have not yet finished my university education as he planned for me.

But after much, he passed an instruction to me that he has a sum of $8,000,000.00 (Eight Million US Dollars) left in a bank here, that he used my name as the only daughter for his next of kin in deposit of the funds. He also explained to me that it was because of this money that he was poisoned by his business associates, that I should seek for a God fearing foreign partner in a country of my choice where l will transfer this money and use it for proper investment purpose, that I must finish my university education by the help of a business partner abroad, that he or she should help me to obtain a resident permit in his or her country. Sir I am honorable seeking for your assistance in the following ways.

1. (To serve as my guardian in your country while I will depend on your expert advice since l am a girl of 23 years)

2. (To make arrangement for me to come over to your country in order to further my university education and to secure a residential permit for me in your country)

The bank has told me that due to the agreement drafted with my Late Father which stated that this fund must be transferred out side this country that they will need the following details from the person.

1) Your full name, address.
2) Phone, fax.
3) Company name, position.
4) Profession, age and marital status.

Moreover, I am willing to offer you 30% of the total sum as Compensation for your effort /input after the successful transfer of this fund to your account overseas. Furthermore, you can indicate your option towards assisting me as l believed that this project would be concluded within fourteen (14) days you signify interest to assist me.

Hoping to hearing from you soonest. May God bless you as you extend your helping hand to a needy fellow.

I am anxiously waiting for your response via email: beatrice4real2007@hotmail.com

Yours truly,

Miss Beatrice Anozie.
