"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day to you. I am sure This mail will definitely be coming to you as a surprise,but i must crave your indulgence to introduce myself to you . I am Usman Alhassan, I am one of the Anti -Gaddafi Forces currently in Libya. The reason why I am contacting you via this media is because it is anonymous. I am currently in Tripoli the Capital City of Libya .
I and my partner, secretly moved some abandoned cash and Gold in a mansion belonging to the slayed former Dictator of Libya Moammar Gadhafi , and the total cash is $25 Million USD. We have discovered the cash for over 2 months now but we waited until he his been killed we are sure there is no way anybody could trace the money.

As I write this letter to you, this box is here with me in cash , You do not have to be afraid of anything as no one else knows about this and everything is safe. I would be pleased and grateful to you if you could assist us in receiving this box as I will we want to leave this Country Asap and start a new life elsewhere . Of course, I will give you some money for your efforts.

Moving the funds out of here is not going to be much of a problem as arrangements are being made towards that. All I want from you is your trust and assurance that if the boxes gets to you, you can keep them in a safe place until our arrival. I have to stop here for now.
