"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day friend,

I am Barrister Gonzalez Alston, a solicitor at law, personal attorney to Mr.Kumar Ahmed, a national of your country, who used to work with Shell Development Company in Lome Togo.

Here in after shall be referred to as my client, and it happen that he registered to me as his personal attorney. Unfortunately he died in a mottor accident which happened on 31th October, 2006. All occupants of the mottor accident unfortunately lost there lives. Since then I have made several enquiries to your embassy here to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to search hence i contact you. You may not be the rightful relative but you legally qualified to this free claim because my late client did not document any will before his sudden death.

Therefore,on receipt of your positive response,we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities for transfer.I have all necessary information and legal documents needed to back you up for claim. I will fly down to your country as soon as the fund is release and transfer to you.

All I require from you is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through. I guarantee that this will be executed under legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. As soon as you give me your hands of cooperation, i will send to you the specimen of the text of application you will send to the Bank immediately to commence this transaction.

As you reply,let me have the following information which I will use to draft the claim application and also for documentations of the probate processes if you have fully make up your mind to cooperate with me for our mutual benefit.
