"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir

I hope this letter meets you in a good health condition, I am sorry if I have intruded into your privacy or barged in on you without your permission.

I am Saif al-Islam son to Late President Moaman Gaddafi, former president of Libya who was killed by the Libyan Rebels on Wednesday the 19th day of October 2011 in his home town Sirte.

I got your contact through Directory of Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a big trading Merchant, who is also trustworthy and reliable to do business with, hence my contact to you.

After the death of my father Late father, president Gaddaffi on the above mentioned date, the Rebels also were searching to kill me as they killed all my brothers. I sneaked away from the town to a near by boarder where I will let you know as soon as you accept to do this project with me. I have with me right now the deposit documents of the total sum of $35.5 M, which my late father deposited with a storage house, which I shall also let you, know as soon as I receive your response to this message.

Now that I am in a hide out because I am being hunted by the rebels,if I go back to Libya I will be killed, I will appreciate you laying claims to this pending fund on my behalf as the beneficiary of the fund, with the documents which I shall release to you as soon as I receive your acceptance to this message.

Besides, I am here without anything about me; all my traveling documents were seized and I only Thanked Allah I was able to run away with the said deposit documents, which I know if I succeed in getting the fund, I will start up a new life in one of the African Countries.

I have tried my best to get in contact with the storage house, and they are willing to release the fund to you on the presentation of the related documents to them. So if you are interested in this project, you get back to me, but if you are not interested do not border but only delete the message and do not expose me.

Waiting to hear from you,

Yours faithfully,

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi
