"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

the hope that you will help me out of my problem. i lost my parents
last year by food poison, my father was a businessman before he died and
I inherited the sum of ($6.500.000) Six Million five hundred thousand
Dollar fom him, he told me that he deposited the above mentioned amount
in a bank in Togo a near by country, he also explained to me that it was
because of this money he was poisoned by his family members he advised
me to seek for foreign partner in a country of my choice where I would
transfer this money and use it for investment purpose, due to the war in
my country Ivory coast. I managed to excape to Togo, the country where
my father deposited the this money, I am seeking your assistance to
transfer this money in to you account so that I will come over to your
country and start a new life and as well further my education. I am
expecting to hear from you as soon as possible, the details of this
