"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: send your address with details

As you already know I have arrived Africa since Friday Last week I have met
with Governor Lamido Sanusi and EFCC chairperson Mrs. Waziri. all
arrangement to has been completed to send your payment via smart card atm.
Send your receiving address now. Also I have concluded the meetings in
Ghana with the Bank executives and Minister of finance including the
Minister of Internal affairs,
as I have found out one of the root causes of the problem for the delay of
you payment is that the bankers who are sitting on your payment and refused
to transfer are only unreasonable men and acting only own their selfish
interest and the behavior of some of them during the meetings was very
deplorable.
I am very glad that finally I have reached agreement with the two governors
of the Apex Banks Dr. Paul A. Acquah and Mallam Lamido Sanusi of the
Central bank of Nigeria. As of yesterday the bank of Ghana was ready to
courier your Special Smart ATM Card to you, but I was waiting for your call
to pass on the message.

I belive that when a virtuous man is raised, it brings gladness to his
friends, grief to his enemies, and glory to his posterity. I wanted you to
know that It wasn't the reward that mattered or the good life I might
harvest. It was my depth of commitment, my quality of service, the product
of my devotion, these were the things that I counted most importabt to me
because No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been
the reward for what he gave.

The cost of courier is $50
The Insurance 200
The Admin Charge is 100.
The total is $350

You are to send this money today via the officer nominated by the Minister
of internal affairs.

Name: Victor Mfon
Address; National Bank Wuse 2 Abuja Nigeria
question: ATM
Answer: Card.
Amount: $350.

I am told by the minister of finance that this is the minimum of the
charges that is expected from you so that they will release your atm and
courier it same time.
