"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good Morning

Dear Friend

My name is Andrew Bagley a United State Citizen, I am writing you this message from a small hide out in Libya where I have been hiding for the last 5 days. I am a close friend to President Gadafi’s first son. Before the death of Mr. President Gadafi , he trusted a huge sum of 64 Million USD under my care, a week before the accident that caused his death, he willed the money to my as my mutual beneficiary, because his son was in exile and there is nobody he can trust any more. He officially and legally made me the sole beneficiary to the $64M USD.
I am an orphan, i don't have relations or brothers i can contact to help me on this, that is why i am contacting you as my alternative since i can trust you.

With the help of some of my Red Cross friends, I was able to move this fund to a Security Company in Spain where it was kept for my return.

Now, due to the present Insecurity situation here in Libya, I can not come out from where I am hiding because of the strict security survey against the Late Presidents Family. So if you wish to assist me get this fund out from the Security house in Spain reply and inform me so that I can give you the contact detail and who you should contact in Spain to get this money moved.

I am willing to give you %40 while %50 will be for me and %10 for any expenses. It is true that we do not really know each other, but I promise you this will bring us closer than two mutual friends. i am in a serious need of your help.

Please reply to my private e-mail ( andrewbagley01@live.com )

I need your swift reply.

Andrew
