"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

deposited in a commercial bank here in Nigeria.
As a former government official i cannot directly claim this fund and
also invest it as this will create an eye brow. This is why i seek
your assistance in first of all getting this fund into your bank
account safely, then i will fly over to your country for investing of
the fund.
I want to let you know that you will be an equal partner with me in
the investment. This means you will control 50% share of this fund and
investment. Your only responsibility in this business is to provide
your safe bank account for the payment of this fund safely into it.
Also you will play key role in any form of assistance to see that this
fund is claimed by you as i am going to present you as the owner of
the fund to the bank.
