"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The 3rd annual International Conference on Future Energy, Environment and Climate Change will be held on 16-20 April, 2012. The purpose of this conference is to provide an international forum for leading experts, opinion-leaders and decision-makers of the development and climate community as well as for interested members of the public to contribute their perspectives to the discussion on climate governance/global warming.

Call for Papers:
The organizing committee invites abstract/extended abstract submission from researchers,practitioners, scientists, energy experts, environmental specialists program designers and evaluators.All abstracts should be formatted to facilitate the review process. Author's names and details, including names of all co-authors plus affiliations and addresses for general

correspondence (including email address) of each author, and a brief personal profile (maximum 100 words) of the presenter, should appear on a separate cover page that will be removed prior to review.

We invite proposals for two types of presentations:
1.Oral Presentations (15-20 minute formal presentations and slides)
2.Poster Presentations (informal presentations)

Abstracts should clearly identify the primary speaker’s/delegates address, mailing address, telephone number and fax number. All submissions should be forwarded via email (as a word.doc attachment) to the conference office at; icfeeccabstracts@yahoo.co.uk for review.

Authors of accepted abstracts will need to submit the complete paper (maximum 5,000-6,000 words) by March 30th 2012. Accepted papers will be published in proceedings, which will be distributed to conference delegates at registration time. The proceedings will also be available online on the conference web site. In addition, a conference best paper will be
selected from full paper submissions only. Candidates wishing to be considered for the best paper award should clearly stipulate same upon registration.

Proposal Submission:
Interested presenters should submit an abstract of less than 250 words,summarizing the proposed presentation by 10th March, 2012. Submissions will be judged on relevance to conference themes, clarity of thought, data/documented results, creativity, fit in conference program and other criteria. Deadline for notification of acceptance is 17th March, 2012.

Conference Registration:
All presenters are expected to register online by 30th March, 2012. We offer free registration to all delegates from developing countries as well as free air ticket, travel insurance, visa fees and per diem for all paper presenters and participating delegates for ICFEECC 2012.
