"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hi From Kuwait ( Your Trust & Assitance)

Hi,

I am Col. Larry Telah, one of the US troops dispatched from Iraq to Kuwait after several years of battle in Iraq. Before our final movement from Iraq, I and my unit found over $400 million in cash and over 10,000pounds of Gold bricks in one of late Saddam Hussein's hideout in Baghdad. some of this money was given back to the Iraq Government while we kept some behind for ourselves which we did shared among ourselves.

I have kept my own share of the fund and gold brick with some of my belongings in a military consignment trunk box and I want to hand over this box to a trust worthy person in the states that will help me keep it till I am back from Kuwait. My own share of the funds is 3.2million dollars and 2gold bricks of about 55pounds which worth about 700,000 dollars. If you can handle this deal let me know immediately,so that I can make arrangement to have the trunk box delivered to you through a UN humanitarian official who will be leaving Kuwait for the States by the end of this week. kindly send me your full name , your contact detail and mobile number and the nearest airport close to you. You will receive 30% of the total fund, all you need to do is to receive the consignment for me and keep it in a safe place till I leave Kuwait.

Please kindly keep this transaction Confidential because I am still serving in the Military camp here in Kuwait, so get back to me immediately at my private email with the details required from you. ( ltelah52@aol.com )

Regards,

Col. L.Telah
