"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dear sir

Dear Friend,

I apologize to infringe into your privacy without prior notice, though I believe you will be of assistance to me on my needs as I require someone who speaks English from your country to coomunicate with on this purchase.

We have some products that we want to buy from your country for production of vaccines, my company is into production of Pharmaceutical products and Animal Vaccines under UN health services, these materials are for the development and research on anti HIV therapy, Hypertension, Parkinson Disease, Rest legs syndrome and stroke.

We have been purchasing these materials from Kenya but it is now out of stock and we got information on someone in your country who is selling the same product, but we are having problem with the owner of this product because one Mr. Gupta who introduced him to me betrayed me in our first transaction thereby creating a language barrier between me and the local dealer who does not understand English.

Please if you can assist me, I want you to send me your mobile phone number so I may discuss further with you on the product.

Regards,

Akins Lamberton
