"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GET ME POSTED !!!!

Hello,

I am Richard Clifford a secret financial aid to the late Muammar Gaddafi i
am contacting you based on the fact that he has finally dead and gone.

In 2007 Late Muammar Gaddafi contacted me to be one of his secret
financial aid based on the vast connection i have with top banks officers
all over Africa vehemently refused because i know most of his funds are
looted funds, but after much treat to my life and family since i am from
United Kingdom and very close to the Gaddafi Government, i finally agree
to his wishes.

In Dec 2009 the late Muammar Gaddafi transferred the sum of 35,000,000 (
Thirty five Million United State Dollars )to my account, which through my
connection i successfully moved to Ned Bank South Africa, From Ned Bank
South Africa the Fund was moved to Royal Bank of Scotland London, and
ever since then the funds have been there without the knowledge of any
body apart from myself and the late Muammar Gaddafi not even his children
the Government of Libya know about this fund.

At first when he contacted me i was scared but i never new it was going to
turn out to be a blessing, as i have said earlier i have vast connection
all over banks here in Africa and some abroad, so i know how to get the
funds across to you without any hitches and as long as you co-operate and
follow my instructions.

The reason why i am contacting you is to help move this fund that is lying
in there to your country where we can Invest it and start a better life,
because the new Government of Libya are looking for those that worked with
the Late Muammar Gaddafi and his monies anywhere in the African's banks,
so you can see that this is a great opportunity for you and i as the funds
are already in a safe bank only known to me alone and you that i am
disclosing this to.

Lastly i will like you to know that this is no joke and not hoax, please
don't mind my English, please get back to me for more details on how to
proceed.

Kind Regards,
Richard Clifford.
