"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Relief Rice Contract

Relief Rice Contract

WHO WE ARE

Hunger Relief, Task Force Darfur is a non-governmental, non religious, humanitarian aid coordination organization focused on North and Sub Saharan Africa in particular whose mandate is to ensure that all the monies collected for aid to areas (in North and Central Africa) in need of urgent intervention are put to use and get to the people who need the aid most, with less than 1 percent wasted on needless bureaucracy – fancy offices, 4 wheel drives, or flashy websites. All we want is for millions of the hungry populations displaced by war and drought, receive food – a human right.

So far we have collated over thirty five (35) million US Dollars in Donor fund of which we intend to use 30 million to purchase rice for victims of conflict and drought in the eastern Chad and western Darfur theatre. Quantity of rice in the first phase is 12,500 metric tons.

Under the charter of HUNREF TFD, we normally throw open the bid for the supply of rice, but because of the emergency situation especially in western Darfur, it was decided to cut all red tape and an Independent specialist was asked to prepare a bill of quantities for the rice contract.

Secondly, there is no need to be an old contractor, or even a registered company to participate in the supply bid.

All that is needed is that you share our enthusiasm for helping humanity and indicate your capability to handle a contract of this magnitude together with a valid Identity.

If you think you can handle a project of this magnitude, then indicate so and we shall forward to you the bill of quantities for your perusal and final decision.
