"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings from Jenny Wong,

Greetings from Jenny Wong,

How are you my friend, I believe my letter met you in good time and I deem it to be a great opportunity for us to understand our selves better. Actually by virtue of my position as an auditor who has been handling most of the bank accounts over the years. I have a privy knowledge of a lot of classified information of some customer(s) however, it must be noted that the ethics of my profession as an auditor restrain me from sharing any classified information with anyone, but I am doing this in my private capacity to gain your trust and to partner this obligation with you as my future husband for our benefit.

Late, Christopher Foster a British businessman who killed his entire family also killed himself for no proper reasons was once a long-term business partner with PETRONAS Malaysia also one of the pillar customer with our Bank, his dormant account nature has been of concern to me hence I am encouraged with compassion to unveil this vital information with you. I decided to take it upon myself to contact you personally to seek for your acceptance to introduce you as his business partner and process the claims documents on your name. I guarantee you 100% safety. I will inform you more about this business when you return this proposal with positive answer.

Thanking you for your Co-operation.

Best regards,
Yours Jenny Wong
