"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is Mr Benjamin Omar Snr. Account Executive with Fedas security & financial company who contacted you few months ago seeking your assistance inregards to funds transfer valued at $7.5million usd, although we were unable to proceed due to the fact that you couldn't comply with the conditions of the said Bank were the funds is lodge by coming down in person to follow up with the transfer process. In much anticipation i suceeded to convincing the management of the Bank about your busy schedules and they have agreed to facilitate the transfer process by using one of their affiliate Banks in your region to that effect as long as a change of ownership certificate is (fiduciarily) issued in your names.
Now to enable us proceed in obtaining the necessary change of ownership in your name as beneficiary you are to re-confirm your current contact address, any valid id or passport photo and your direct contact number, the document will be sent to your contact address for onward delivery to the Bank. Let me know you receive this mail and get back to me ASAP.
