"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

An email address listed inside this email has been used in a known fraud before.
This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

My late father & I, have bought the root/herb before in Malaysia at the rate of U$200 American dollars per packet, of which, we (my late father & I) sold to our UK client at the rate of U$1000.00 American dollar, the said root is mostly used for the cure of Lungs Cancer.
I did this business as an errand -boy to my late father that adopted me. But this time l will not be able to fly over to Malaysia for the conclusion of the business due to my physical-disability & present predicament, so if you are interested, I will introduce you as my Uncle that is also a stockist of Root/Herb, so that you can stand as my late father's partner that can also supply the product. I can give you the contact of the supplier/seller in Malaysia and thereafter I will connect you with the Doctor/buyer in London, who is presently in need of this root/product, so you and l can share the profit margin on it as the doctor/buyer is ready to purchase 4000-5000 packets at the rate of US$1,000.00 per packet.
Considering the profit margin, my later foster-father & I did not introduce the seller over there in Malaysia to the doctor/buyer in London so that they both will not do the business directly together. Under this circumstance, if you & I should be the middle-men that will broker the transaction for both parties then it automatically means that itâ€™s you & I that will now have the profit-margin of U$800.00 per packet to us.
