"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR CERTIFIED DRAFT DELIVERY.

Dear:Sir/Ma,

Compliment of season, we are obliged to inform you that the united nation executive board of directors has successfully endorsed your compensation payment and the sum of Five million eight hundred and fifty thousand US dollars (US$5,850,000.00) were credited to our international correspondent account in Bahamas which enhance the issuance of your bank draft. The processes require lots of money but I did everything alone believing that you will not fail to appreciate my effort when you confirm your United Nation Compensation Payment (UNCP). Honestly you must learn how to meet-up official requirements without any-form of delay considering the situation of things; in-fact you have made me to spend more money again to clear the billing-delivery registry of your parcel, which is clearly stated on your Shipment Airway bill. Copy of your bank draft is attached to this message for your kind perusal as the beneficiary of the UNCP.

Take note; the parcel containing your bank draft and the back-up approvals were forwarded to overseas diplomatic services (ODS). Further delivery information will be detailed to you via ODS Diplomat thereby confirming their readiness to dispatch your parcel and you must adhere to official instructions in order to enable you confirm the bank draft within few days before the expiration date of the draft. I advice you quickly forward your mailing address including postal code and mobile phone number to ODS for the confirmation of your Shipment Airway bill.
