"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

to approve your Lottery Prize money (fund) for onward transfer or
remittance into your nominated account in Banco Agromercantil S.A,
Sacatepéquez, Guatemala as you requested from our Agency through wire
transfer (T.T).We have submitted your file to the bank for payment of your
prize fund of the sum of, *Five Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States
Dollars [US$550, 000.00]*. You will be contacted by the bank immediately.
You are required to intimate this office with all the correspondences you
may have with the remitting bank from South Africa.

will be suitable to transfer your Lottery Prize Fund to you, here are the
required legal documents that this agency will secure from the Department
of Justice, Finance and South African Reserve Bank (SARB) on your behalf
for onward submission to the remitting bank here in South Africa to enable
them legalize the transfer of your prize fund into your nominated bank
account in Banco Agromercantil S.A, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala.

authenticate your winning:

The original of all the legal documents pertaining to the lottery will be
sent to you through Courier Service*(DHL)*after the transfer of your prize
fund into your approved choice bank account, for they will be used by the
remitting bank for the transfer. It is very pertinent for us to inform you
that your lottery prize fund was insured under a comprehensive insurance
policy which restrict (forbid) our Agency from taking or deducting any
money from your lottery prize fund until your prize fund is finally
transferred into your nominated account in Banco Agromercantil S.A,
