"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Morning,

With due respect to your personality and with much sincerity of purpose I make this

My name Ali Khoury, Jr., 29 years old young man from Syria. My late father's name

trader here in Damascus Syria until 2 months ago when he was assassinated by a
sniper shot fire by the government forces while he was addressing a protest rallies.
You might have read from one of your local news about this conflict that has been
going on in our Country for the past 10 months which has claimed thousands of our

Since the death of my father my family has been living in fear daily and everything
belonging to my late father has been seized by the government agents claiming he
is one of the financier of the protest against the regime.

The reason I contacted you is to seek for your advise, assistance and cooperation

control.
I want to take this action urgently as I am afraid the government agents might find
out about it and also confiscate it.

Please can you assist in retrieving of this treasury and also investing it for my family
in your line of business or in any other profitable venture that will be under your care
under a mutual beneficial agreement between us while my family continue to look
for means to escape from this our Country to the refugee camp in Turkey.

I look forward to receiving from you soon if you are willing to assist me.
