"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Chimamanda is here to help you receive your unclaim fund

Wishes of nice day from Chimamanda,

I am a missionary sent to Nigerian Government Ministries to perform
humanitarian duties. In one of my daily duties in the Ministry of Finance
office, I was able to know that your unclaim fund part payment valued at
Six Million dollars (USD$6,000,000) has not been paid to you. I do not know
why your payment file was neglected and you have not been paid by now but I
am contacting you now to ask your permission to help you claim your fund
from them.

I have not done this before but if you give me a try, I can help you. Do
you permit me to help you?

NOTE: Your positive or negative believe does not change the fact about the
TRUTH that your unpaid fund has been abandon and neglected.
