"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear Friend

Dear Friend,

Please do not be surprised by this message. Accept my apologies if
This could embarrass you. However, it is my urgent need for foreign partner that made me to contact you.

With all due respect, my name is Ms. Traore Oumou Bra Kanon, the wife of former minister of agriculture and gold mine in my country, the Republic of Ivory Coast, who was killed in a conflict policy. I am based in England ( London ), for political asylum because of the allegation against my husband, he embezzled public funds, and now the government is after me, I escaped. For now I can not return to my country until the situation is resolved.

I need to visit your country to see if we can invest our Family money in your country, but I was informed by the Chambers of Commerce that I need to partnership with a citizen of the country, so that it will be easy to establish a company, so I need someone I can trust.

I want you to promise transparency and respect in society if you are interested. This will be pleased to discuss your percentage of the total funds that I will present to the investment, Because of all necessary assistance that you will make during installation.

I would be grateful if you can answer quickly, so that we can begin the project.

Thank you, God bless you

Cordially

Madame Oumou Bra Kanon
