"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

favor to Transfer the sum of TWENTY FOUR MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS
($20,000,000.00) only. Deposit No. 009oGM Settlement. The authenticity of
the Deposit is confirmed and the Foreign Exchange control number allocated
to you is NBO40FGCN.

In this vein therefore your file has been forwarded to the Payment Centre
in UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA (UBA) to enable you perform the endorsement of
the Final Fund Release Documents Prior to the immediate released of the
total Deposit entitlement to your nominated bank account.

Meanwhile the Director General, of the UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA (UBA) In
Heritage Tower Ambassadorial Enclave Off Liberia Road Ridge Accra P.M.B 29,
Ministries Accra, Ghana, will contact you as soon as possible on how to
effect the payment after the endorsement of these documentation:

1. Letter from International Monetary Fund

2. Probate
3. Letter of Administration
