"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFERRED THE FUNDS

Hello my good friend,

How are you today? Hope this email finds you in good condition of health.
I want to inform you that I have successfully transferred the funds with
the help of another merchant from Israel. However I did not forget your
past efforts in assisting me, though you could not conclude the
transaction with me due to reasons best known to you.

Due to your efforts, honesty and sincerity you showed during the course of
the transaction, I have decided to compensate you and show you gratitude.
I have left a certified bank draft for you worth One Million five hundred
thousand US dollars ($1,500,000.00) cashable at your bank. I left the bank
draft with my Account officer, Mr. John Woodhouse in London United
Kingdom. Please kindly contact him so that he will send the bank draft to
you without delay. His contact email address is: j.woodhouse@blumail.org

At the moment I'm very busy here in Israel with investment projects with
my new partner and will not be able to contact you soon due to my tight
schedule here. So kindly send him your full name, contact address and
telephone number for his reference and ask him to send the bank draft to
you because i have instructed him on your behalf.

Cordial wishes,
Dr. Solomon Dyke.
