"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Subject: I Need Your Attention

Hello dear
I humbly write to solicit for your partnership and assistance in the transfer and investment of my inheritance funds from my late father who died mysteriously. I know this mail might come to you as a surprise but I am writing this in confidence and believing that if it is the wish of God for you to help me out of my predicament, God almighty will bless and reward you and you would never regret this

Let me first introduce myself to you, I am an originally Sierra Leone but currently staying in Cote d'Ivoire in city Abidjan. My name is Zaria Kabba, I am age of nineteen years girl, am only child of my late parents, I got your e-mail address through Internet database when I was searching for a good and trust worthy person who will be my friend and I believe that it is better we get to know each other better and trust each other because I believe any good relationship will only last if it is built on truth and reliable person
My father Mrs.Alhaji Amadu Kabba, he was a businessman a dealer in exporting and importing gold and cocoa merchandise It was very evident that he was poisoned to death by his business associates during his business trip.
After the burial of my father, my uncles conspired and sold my father’s properties to a Chinese Expatriate and live nothing for me. In my culture when a man dies, if he does not have a male child, the brother shares his property leaving the wife and the daughters empty handed. This is the exact case with me as I am the only daughter of my parents. I lost my mother when I was barely a year old and my father refused to re-marry another wife despite all persuasion by friends and relatives, because he felt solely responsible for my mother's death, as he only concentrated on his business that he rarely pays attention to domestic/family affairs.
On a faithful morning, I opened my father's briefcase and found out the documents which he have deposited huge amount of money in one of bank in Cote d'Ivoire with my name as the next of kin. Right now I am in Cote d'Ivoire to withdraw the money so that I can start a better life and take care of myself and continue my studies.
On my meeting with the bank manager in person he told me that my father's instruction to the bank incase in the event of any eventuality that the money is going to release to me only when I am twenty-five years of age otherwise I should present a guardian/partner to intercede on my behalf for the release of the funds to me for invest the money to overseas. I have chosen to contact you after my prayers and I believe that you will not betray my trust. But rather take me as part of your family. Though you may wonder why I am so soon revealing myself to you without knowing you, well, I will say that because my mind is convinced me that you are the true person to help me.
More so, I will like to disclose much to you if you can help me to relocate to your country because my uncle has threatened to assassinate me. Me while I have confirmed from the bank in Cote d'Ivoire everything regarding this fund, I want you to assured me you will also help me to place the money in a more profitable business venture in your Country. However, you will help by recommending a nice University in your country so that I can complete my studies.
It is my intention to compensate you with 20% for your kind efforts and to cover any expenses you might incurred for this transaction out of the total sum after the successful conclusion of this mutual transaction and the money arrive into your bank account and the balance shall be my capital in your establishment. As soon as I receive your interest in helping me, I will put things into action immediately. In the light of the above, I shall appreciate an urgent message indicating your ability and willingness to handle this transaction, I will be giving you the bank's contact details and also send you the deposite documents to know how much that involve for your request to the bank to release and transfer of my inheritance fund into your nominated bank account for investment purpose and I can join you to continue my education. Please do keep this only to yourself.
Sincerely yours,
Miss Zaria
