"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beloved,

It is with heart full of hope that I write to seek your help in the context below. I am Mr.Mathan Sabeen, the son of late General Yohannan Sabeen who was assassinated by the orders of the Syrian President Bashar Hafez al-Assad for trying to defect to the opposition group through Turkey, they found out and killed him, my Mother and my Sister is now under house arrest. Fortunately, I managed to escape from the country with the help of a friend in the Military.

Having gotten your particulars from your countries chamber of commerce online, I have no doubt to your capacity and goodwill to assist me in receiving into your custody (for safety) the sum of US$20 million Dollars deposited in a Security Company here in Russia by my late father.

This money is currently kept in a trust deposit vault with a Finance and Security company. However, with the civil war still going on I was able to escape to Russia to secure this fund, as that is the only estate left for my family.

I am presently leaving as a refugee here in Russia until I succeed in this transfer transaction and due to the situation of things a lawyer has strictly advised that the money be urgently moved into an over-seas account of a trusted Foreign family friend without delay for security reasons. I expect you to be trustworthy and kind enough to respond to this call (S.O.S) to save me and my entire family from a hopeless future.

I hereby agree to compensate your sincere effort in this regard with 20% of the fund, when finally received in your local Bank account. The attorney here have perfected arrangements with the security company to effect complete dislodgement of this money within a week of the receipt of your response ,They have equally guaranteed 100% risk free and smooth transfer.

I need your help to recieve this fund and invest them in your Country, the lawyer have assured me that he will help me get travel documents to your Country after the fund is delivered to you.

If you are interested in assisting me kindly get back to me.

Looking forward to your quick response.

May God bless you.
