"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Please get back to me for more details

I have a business proposal which I will like to discuss with you.I am an asset manager for a consultancy firm in Thessaloniki Greece. One of our clients whose investment portfolio is being managed by my office passed away recently.

Among his very diverse assets which have been shut down include some bank deposit investments and other financial instruments such as stocks and bonds. We can make use of some of the assets to generate income for us but I need to present you to his bank as his business partner who is entitled to some outstanding debts owed by the deceased.

I have already made the profit projections/ assesment. The Financial leverage ratios and Profitability ratios are quite high.
If you will like to partake in this venture, respond to this message then
I will provide further details so we can discuss the terms and the arrangements.

Regards,
Dimitirios Korvesis
Thessaloniki, Greece.
