"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

PLEASE CONTACT FOR MORE DETAILS (VERY URGENT)

Dear Friend,

I am Mr.Raphael James,I am writing this letter to ask for your support and co-
operation to carry out this business opportunity in my department, in March.
2011, a consultant, Mr. Ahmed Moussa, made a numbered time (fixed) deposit for
twelve calendar months, Valued at US$8,500,000.00 in my branch.

Upon maturity I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got
no reply. After a month, a reminder was sent and finally i discovered from his
contract employers that he has passed on.

I am now faced with a problem of who to pass the fortune to. According to the
South Africa law, the fortune is supposed to be bequeathed to the government. I
seek your assistance to act as the beneficiary of the inheritance, and lay
claim to the legacy. Please send all your correspondent to me through this
email : (c.now1@aim.com) Or Email: (vkouassi@aol.com)

I look forward to your urgent reply:

Best Regards
Raphael James
