"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: . I have a business propasal to discuss with you

My name is Dr. Thomas Blackman, an Auditor based here in London. I have a business
proposal to discus with you concerning one of my late clients Ms. Aneta. I contacted
you as you would be the best candidate for this deal.

My late client died a couple of years back (2007) in an auto-crash. Before Her death, she deposited some money with a bank here in London and as I write you, the fund is still there.

As her private auditor, the bank has been contacting me to know if any of her relations have emerged all these while. Honestly speaking, no one has come up and I have also made frantic efforts to locate them but to no avail. She was a contractor with the British Government before her sudden death.

As no one has come up for the said fund ($7,700,000.00), I decided to contact you and front you as a relation to my late client.

I have her Deposit and Death Certificates and would be able to get other three documents both from the Royal Court of Justice and the Police which would be needed to proof you as her true relation and the new beneficiary of the fund.
If you are interested, kindly forward to me your full name, your residential and office address, your occupation, phone number and a copy of your identification card.

Regards
Dr. Thomas Blackman
