"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day,

This is to inform you that we have large quantity of GOLD DUST (98.3% purity) for sale. The gold is from our neighboring country Congo but are sold outside congo due to the insecurity in the country. We are private dealers representing some top government officials and prepared to sell at the price of $25,500.00 per kg CIF, and $23, 500.00 per kg FOB. The gold were legally acquired and proper export documents will be provided to allow delivery to your choice of destination.

I have always advised our customers to come in person and negotiate with us, because it will give you the opportunity to know us, see the gold, verify quantity/quality from the geology and sign the contract if you are happy. I do not believe in internet and telephone business, therefore you are invited to come and visit us for a mutual meeting between Buyer and Seller. Your money may not be required to pay us until you are satisfied with our terms and condition.

Under proper arrangement with duly signed agreement, we can allow payment for the gold to be made after successful delivery to buyer's address.

We are prepared to start with trial quantity of between 50kg to 100kg depending on the capability of the buyer to handle it.

If you are interested to do business with us or need more information, kindly contact me back, I will be glad to answer your questions.

I am looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Mr.James Mbula
