"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello dear New friend,

Hello dear New friend,

I am happy to write you this message, my darling friend I contacted you over a very serious issue and i want you to know that I am telling you this because of the trust and confidence I have in myself so I believe you have the same mind as mine,I know you are a true friend who cares because life as an orphan has not been really easy for me, My late parents were murdered by my uncle because of my fathers wealth.

When my father was alive he deposited some money in a Bank and he used my name as the next of kin, The amount is $6.7m(Six Million Seven Hundred Thousand US Dollars). I will like you to help me transfer this money to your account and from it you will send some money for me to get my traveling documents and air ticket to come over to meet with you. I will give all the necessary information about the money and will introduce you directly to the bank manager for discussion because the manager is waiting for me now to present my trustee so that they can transfer money into your account for me.

I do not have any relatives whom i can trust or go to now because my uncles wants me dead so that they can inherit everything my late father owned. The only person I have now is you,I want you to help me contact the bank as my trustee.
The Coordinator Patrick Mendy who is in charge of the refugee camp welfare, has been the one helping me to use his computer as I live under his care in the female hostel and you can reach me on the telephone through his number (+221-775951102) . If you call just tell the coordinator that you want to speak with Fatima( the girl from Sudan), he will send for me in the hostel to come and answer your call, As a refugee here i don't have any right or privilege to work or be engaged in any business or financial matters or whatever because it is against the law of this country.

The reason I am writing you this message is for you to reply me back so that I will know whether to continue to search or to send you more information about funds with the hope that you will truly help me. I have my late father's bank account papers here with me which i will send to you later if you are ready and capable to help me as a trustee to claim the money because the bank has given me a condition to release the money to me as the legal next of kin.

I am expecting your response or call,

YOURS SINCERELY
Fatima.
