"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: MONTHLY PART-PAYMENT OF $1,050,000.00 EACH.

Sir,

CONFIRMATION OF MONTHLY PART-PAYMENT OF $1,050,000.00 EACH.

(A). Disclaimer.
On behalf of the government of Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Debt Management Office (DMO) here disclaim all your past activities had with unknown and unauthorized person(s) claiming to represent the Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria (FGN). By the country's constitution of 1999 as amended by the Constitution Amendment Committee in 2003, the Debt Management Office (DMO) was established and charged with the sole duty of handling and settlement of all foreign debts and debts owed to foreign companies and individuals. By this, any other person, establishment or group of persons claiming to represent the Government of the Federation of Nigeria is not valid. All information about the Debt Management Office (DMO) can be found on the official website of the establishment as follows:
www.dmo.gov.ng

(It is advisable that you do your verifications to be sure of who you are dealing with)

(B). Procedure.
The genuine procedure for debt settlement is as follows:

1. Establishment of the fact that you are being owed (which we have done by sending you the initial email).

2. Verifying the genuineness of your debt from origin (in case of contracts, Bequests, Inheritances and allied funds).

3. All taxes and bank transfer charges MUST be deducted from source before fund is released to you.

(C). Your Duty and Obligation.
As the beneficiary and fund claimant, you are expected to come to Nigeria in Person to sign your Fund Release Documents (free of charge) and no duties and fees is required from you. However, whereas you are not able and can not come to Nigeria, you are allowed to appoint any Nigerian based attorney, licensed for practicing in Nigeria to represent you in signing of your Fund Release Documents of which once done, we will go ahead to release your fund through the government bank here without delay.

This is the only procedure for foreign debt settlement. You can simply know where you have been going wrong in the past. You can also see that you wouldn't have spent all your funds unnecessarily to impostors and fraudsters if you had known the right way.
To offer you help within my powers, I will introduce you to my personal (trusted) attorney who I know will just take or charge a peanut from you to come and represent you in this Fund Release Signing and there goes your fund to you in monthly transfers of not more than $1,050,000.00 each for 12 months.

At your earliest request, I will direct / introduce you to my private attorney for this one-time service.

I wait till I hear from you.

Mr. Joe Ugoala
Asst. Director-General,
Head, Public Debt Management,
DMO, Lagos Metropolitan Complex,
