"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest One,

It's my pleasure to contact you for a business venture, I am Miss Divine Edo an Orphan and the only Daugther of Mr & Mrs .J.Edo. From Republic of Cote D'ivoire in West Africa. I intend to establish in your country, though I have not met with you before but I believe one has to risk confiding in someone to succeed sometimes in life.

I lost my parents during political crises in Cote Divoire. My father, late Mr.J.David Edo, was one of the Cabinet of formal president; Mr. Laurence Gbagbo, He was assassinated in March (2011) by the rebels supporting the Current President (President Alassane Quattara) following a political uprising.

There is this huge amount of $16.5Million USA dollars($16.500,000.00)which deposited in my name by my late father before he was assasinated. after the deat of my parents i decided to invest these money in your country or anywhere safe enough outside Africa for security and political crisis free. I want you to help me to transfer this fund to your country for investment purposes.

It is my desire to see that this money is invested to any organization of your choice in your country and distributed each year among the charity organizations, motherless baby home, churches, Schools, supporting destitute aged men and women or whatever you may have in mind that will be to the benefit of the less fortunate and to further my Education in your country.I took this decision because I'm an Orphan and I am 20 years old so If you can be of any assistance to this i will like you to tell me what you will take from me out of the total fund,as your charge to assist me get this fund out of this chaos nation.

I will be expecting your urgent response soonest .If you are willing and interested to help me out then get back to me so that i will tell you on how we are to proceed further on receipt of your response.

Thanks for your understanding and co-operation.

Yours truly.

Miss Divine Edo.
