"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is to inform you that we have finally succeeded in getting your package worth of $7.2million out of (ECO-WAS) Economic Community of West African States with the help of Mr. James George Attorney General of Federal High Court of Justice Lagos Nigeria which act as your foreign Attorney representative here in Lagos Nigeria.

Every necessary arrangement has been made successfully with Norman Wood for the delivery of your Consignment and every Documents guiding your delivery is well updated you are advised to reconfirm your full delivery information to the Agent right now as he is currently at Madrid Barajas International Airport with your Consignment.

He called me this morning to inform me that he misplaced your delivery address which occurred due to CUSTOMS/ CIA and POLICE searching and scanning on the consignment as if he is a terrorist but finally I thank God that they have confirmed that his movement is clear and legitimate with out any suspicious intentions only to deliver this consignment to you and the documents are updated as I earlier told you.
