"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello friend,

Goodday to you, my name is William Doe. I am from Liberia, my father was the former Defense minister of Liberia from 1980 to 1990 under the leadership of the former president Dr Samuel K Doe who was kill by the N.P.F.L rebels led by the former president Charles Taylor who is now serving 50 years in prison for world crime in the Hague.

During that time i was in the U S following my education, i later returned to Liberia in 2010 after my country have face 15 years of civil war which claim the lives of more than 500,000 people. I went back home to claim what my late father have left for me in a secret security company in Liberia but was face with a whole lot of political finger pointing and questioning of the former regime in which my father serve as Defense minister. and so, i had to leave the country for the safety of my life.

I now seek a place that i can live and invest the fund that my father have left for me. i manage to get your number through my personal research and out of desperation.

I have setting amount of fund of which i am looking for a business venture to invest in the Real Estate and property business in your country. That is my view for now, but i believe you will be in the best position to tell me what kind of investment is suitable for one to invest in your country.
