"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear in the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is Mrs. Helen Jones, a Canadian, but living in Ivory Coast. I'm getting old widow suffering from a long illness. I am currently admitted to a private hospital here in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, I have some funds I inherited from my late loving husband Dr. William Jones.

The amount of USD $7,000,000.00 he deposited in one of the banks here and I need an honest and God fearing human who has feelings that can use these funds for God's work and 20% of the total funds will be offer to you for the work of God. Please, if you know you will be able to use these funds for the Lord's work kindly reply.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Lord be kind to you and your family Amen? Hoping to receive your reply. God bless you.

Your sister in the Lord.

Mrs. Helen Jones
