"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Our father was a very wealthy cocoa farmer before unfortunate incident occurred. We lost our parents 7 months ago in a civil war that is

Sometimes ago my late father told me that he has a sum of $7,500,000 (seven million, five hundred united states dollars) deposited in a bank here in ivory coast because this is the country where he always import and sell his cocoa product, he told me that he used my name as his first child for the next of kin in deposit of the money which we have all the documents with us here in the refugee camp. We have visited the bank on our arrival here in ivory coast and we meet with the bank director who told us that due to the agreement made by our late father on the day of deposite, that only my foreign partner or guardians oversea has the right for the claim of the money in his absent. Now we want you to help us stand as my gaurdians/foreign parner and help us transfer this money from the bank here to
your country bank account since we could not locate or find any of our late parents relative in south africa, We want you to know that we see you as a honest and trust worlthy person who we can trust and transfer this money with your assistance and after the money as been transfered into your account in your country we will relocate and reside permanently in your country where we have decided to spend all the rest of our lifes and so that we can further our education right there in your country. Why you we help us invest the money in a profitable business investment there in your country.
