"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Dear,

I write you with humble heart and great respect of the Almighty Allah.... I'm Nancy Tichaona Jokonya(widow), wife of the late Joseph Benjamin Jokonya former Minister of Information and Publicity in Zimbabwe, who died on June 24, 2006 through ambush by unknown armed men in his hotel room Sheraton Hotel which is now the ''Hotel Rainbow" in Harare, Zimbabwe. I am in asylum home here in Bamako - Mali, pending the issuance of my political refugee status. And financial laws and regulations of Mali which does not allow asylum seeker to obtain any legal job or invest. Then, making it impossible for me to invest in Mali. I am a mother of three children, two boys and one girl.

As a widow my late husband left us a very huge amount of money which i cannot disclose to you now and also which the Zimbabwe Government has no access to but because of the state of my assylum in Mali and the safety of my life and that of my children,i don't have direct access to it unless i get someone trust worthy to vow for me before i proceed with the necessary details of getting the money out of Zimbabwe. There is problem in Mali. I considered doing projects of the real estate and property development elsewhere aside Mali and Zimbabwe, but I think you are best placed to lead us towards a lucrative sector and positive result, we will be mutually grateful and honest with you only if you prove your sincerity to us by volunteering to be honest in heart in assisting us in getting that funds out of Zimbabwe. Please my friend, indicate your interest by sending me your personal CV via this e-mail address , if you are not interested please remain anonymous. Looking forward !
