"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

President of the Republic of Ghana. Due to the illegal operations of
fraudsters in this country Ghana and other African countries, are agent
made several seizures of consignments which are presently awaiting
shipment to their different destinations overseas.

And while going
through our files of "listed unclaimed/seized consignments”, my staff
found a consignment bearing your names as follows "your name
"which has been seized from a group of fraudsters .And I strongly
believe that you have been dupe by this fraud star from GHANA

And I
like to inform you that I was being ask to mail you these information by
his excellence Mr. JOHN MAHAMA VICE PRESIDENT Republic OF GHANA

In
my capacity as the Secretary to vice president, I am prepared to
help you get your fund safely to you in your Country as even my agency
is tired of keeping these consignments in our Ware-house at the
government ware house in Accra Ghana.

For proper identification and delivery, please send the following:

1) First three pages of your international passport or Driver's license,

2) Your phone/fax numbers,

3) Your home/office address, and

4)
An eight-letter PASSWORD that will be known only between you and this
office of the presidency, and which will be used in a security check
while your consignment is being delivered to you.

Please, I’ll like you to fill the attached form PROPERLY and have it sent to my office VIA E-MAIL ONLY.

At
the receipt of the above-mentioned, I will order for the immediate
discharge and shipment of your consignment (FUND) from the presidency
ware house to you. And this is why your PASSWORD is of UTMOST
IMPORTANCE.

I look forward to your immediate response.
