"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good Day!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

Let me start by introducing myself to you. I am Div Singh and i am Indian/Syrian. I contacted you with a proposal of investing in a good business in your country in order to have the investment legitimacy to relocate my family to your country prompted by the effects on the ongoing war in Syria. The turn of events in Syria has really taken a drastic measure and our hope of seen Assad taken out of power is hanging in the balance. I was thinking and believing that Assad shall be removed from power as was the confidential information given to us but from every indication, the west is not ready to participate actively in the course of the rebels. It was just some days ago that the USA announced  their desire to arm the rebels and I do not know how far that will go in bringing peace into Syria and therefore I am still bent on giving my family a better life beyond the confines of Syria.

I have made an unchangeable decision to go ahead with the plan or relocating my family to your country because Syria is becoming a hell for people like us who are targets of administrative assassination. This is the reason i contacted you as entrepreneur in order to have my family wealth transferred to you and you invest it in your line of business in your country. Before I made this decision, I had a close study of the corporate governance code in your country and it gave me the inspiration I needed to decide to invest in your country. I am a corporate valuer and I know the corporate institutions of the Western world are facing a tough time and this is the reason I decided not to invest in the core west.
My knowledge of investment makes me understand that my family can have residential rights with such amount of investment.

This is a mutually beneficial business relationship that will create an everlasting relationship between us. All i need from you is trust and sincerity and i shall compensate your effort with %10 of my money including the rights of investment. The money I want to invest is  right now under the custody of the ICRC which is a relationship I built because my Father was once a contractor for the ICRC. Thus it was through the ICRC that the money was moved to Europe in order to make it safe. That was during the start of the war in Syria. Right now the ICRC is waiting for me to nominate an investment partner whom they will transfer the money to for investment for me in line with what I agreed with them. In essence what I am looking for is a trusted friend that will invest this money for me and that was why I contacted you.

The mechanism for the transfer of this fund to you is in place and all legal investment protocols shall be followed. All I need is your sincerity and more knowledge about you.

Yours Sincerely.
Div Singh
