"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: COMPENSATION PAYMENT OF $2,759,389 USD, CONTACT TRANEX COURIER

Attention: Beneficiary,

After much attempts to reach you on phone, I deemed it
necessary and urgent to contact you via e-mail and to notify
you finally about your outstanding compensation payment,
during our last annual calculation of your banking
activities we have realized that you are eligible to receive
a Compensation Payment of $2,759,389 USD.

This compensation is being made to all of you, who have
suffered loss as a result of fraud, What you have to do now
is to contact the TRANEX COURIER COMPANY as soon as possible
to know when they will deliver your package to you because
of the expiring date.

For your information, I have paid for the delivery Charge,
Insurance Premium and Clearance Certificate Fee. The only
money you will send to TRANEX COURIER COMPANY to deliver
your Draft direct to your home Address in your country is
($115 USD) only being the Security Keeping Fee of the
Courier Company so far.

Again, don’t be deceived by anybody to pay any other money
except $115 USD Dollars. I would have paid that but they
said no because they don’t know when you will Contact them
and in case of demurrage.

You have to contact the TRANEX COURIER COMPANY now for the
delivery of your Draft and ask them for their payment
information so that you can send them there $115 USD for the
delivery
