"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

met with the concerned authority in-charge of diplomatic conveyance

unit,but i want to confirm from you if you are ready to pick your

fund/consignment in the following countries: Germany, Georgia Atlanta

,New york, London ,Canada ,Spain, Dubai ?.

If yes,i will get back to you tomorrow and let you know how much you

have to make available to the Delivery company in Spain that will finally

deliver to your doorstep that will deliver your consignment to clear it and

deliver to you.I want to do my part by making everything posible to ensure

that the consignment leave Africa, because that is where the problem is, if the

consignment leaves Africa Successfully, the foreign Delivery Company that i have

arranged will deliver to you.

I want to proof to you that there are still good people in Ghana and

Africa, i will spend my money here for the arrangement,but do not

bother to reimburse me until your consignment gets to you.Please,if

you want this consignment to get to you without any hitch,make sure

that you stop any communication with anybody concerning this

consignment,it is for your own good.

On your response kindly furnish me with your current house address, a

copy of your international passport , your full name and your direct mobile line

to avoid delivering to a wrong address.
