"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

On behalf of my late client, Ms. Sarah Chizuko Katayama, this is the second email that I am sending to you after I was instructed to notify you, that you were made heir to the sum of Thirty-three Million British Pound Sterling (33,000,000.00 GBP), from the late Ms. Sarah Chizuko Katayama, who was known for her rare benevolence and exceptional humanitarian work. Until her death, she was a devout Christian who was dedicated to charity giving.

According to her wish, you are to use this money in support of your activities, helping the poor and needy from all races. With your position as heir to the funds left by my late client, which you are qualified to receive now, do get back to me as urgent as possible, to enable me file the necessary documents for the funds' transfer to you, as she wished. I need you to reply me immediately after reading this message via my email address - jzhang.attorney_jzassociates23@yahoo.com.hk

Faithfully yours,
Barr. James Zhang Esq. (Solicitor).
