"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings in the name of the Lord Almighty,

I am Samson Yapi 17 years old from Kingdom of Cote d'Ivoire; I am the
only surviving child of late Mr Desire Asségnini Yapi, The former
Interior minister in Laurent Gbagbo's government. My late father
Desire Asségnini Yapi died of shrapnel wounds sustained when members
of the Republican Forces stormed the presidential palace to arrest Mr.

inheritance is left in a fixed/suspense Account in one of the Prime
banks here by my late father. According to the depositary agreement
between my late father and bank, I need to present a foreign partner I
am the only person that can direct them on where and when to make the

transfer this money out from this country and use it for investment
purposes and relocate outside this country to continue my education.

I am honorably seeking your assistance in the following ways:-

1) To serve as my Guardian/Foreign Partner and provide account where
the bank can transfer this my inheritance.
2) To take me as your biological son because I am an orphan and make
arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education.
