"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello...Urgent Attention Required!!

Hello

I am MRS.HILDA MOHAMMED ALIU. I work with South African Reserve Bank as an
admin secretary and MR.COLE ADAMS as an assistance admin secretary.
I came across your file which was Marked X and yourreleased Hard disk
painted RED,
I took time to study it and found out that your funds is still pending for
the past 1 year.
All documents are intact for transfer to you but the fund has not been
released to you.
The most annoying thing is that, My boss has told Central Bank managements
that the
funds has been transfered to you with fake documents as evidence to show
for the transfer of ther funds to you. I do not intend to work here all
the days of my life, I can release this fund to you if you can certify me
of my security and trust.

The only thing I will need to release this fund is a special HARD DISK
called (HD 500 GIG). I will buy two of it, recopy your information, destroy
the previous one. I will then clean up the tracer and destroy your file
then do a speed transfer to your account from a commercial bank here,
after which I will run away from South African to meet with you If you are
interested.

Before I can proceed with the transfer I will need you to go and buy me
the Hard Disk and send to me via any fast courier service or if it will be
difficult for you to get the Hard Disk I can get it to buy here in my
country. I know who sells that kind of Hard Disk. As soon I receive your
response back I will let you know how much the Hard Disk will cost you to
buy here.

Regards,

HILDA
