"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Senator Joy Emodi, National Security Adviser to the new Nigerian President Dr. Good Luck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am delighted to inform you that the contract panel, which just concluded it’s seating in Abuja just released your name amongst contractors to benefit from the UBA BANK CERTIFIED BANK DRAFT (US$5.5MILLION) Via Immunity Payment at your doorstep.  This Panel was primarily delegated to investigate manipulated contract claims, contracts and over-invoiced payment as the effect has eaten deep into the economy of our dear country.

However, we wish to bring to your notice that your contract profile is still reflecting in our central computer as unpaid contractor while auditing was going on.  Your contract file was forwarded to my office by the auditors of international and Nigeria Banks as unclaimed fund. Verify the submitted files and documents to your names.
Kindly Make out time to study and reconfirm your information for the shipping of your Draft with the courier associated fee of $270.00.

Note, we have received the following attached details of yours by our financial bank sectors.
