"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

>From Fatoumata I. Coulibaly,
Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire.

Hello my dear,

Kindly permit me to inform you of my desire of going into long time relationship and financial transaction with you, hence am contacting you with due respect and heart full of pains and sorrows.

As I started earlier, I am Fatoumata I. Coulibaly, 22 yrs old and never married. I am writing this message to you with sorrows and pains in my heart, based on the political/ethnic division crisis in my country, which lead to the killing of my father.

Please my good friend, I am sending this message to seek for your assistance in my efforts to procure the transfer of my inherited important sum of money from my late Father. My late father deposited the amounts with the bank here in Abidjan - Cote D‘Ivoire, with my name as the Next of kin.

I really wish to invest this money in Manufacturing OR real estate management in your country, under your care and management, until I am old enough to handle the investments my self.

If you are willing to help me, I would be much pleased to offer you 15% from the total money. Therefore, you are to reply back as soon as you received this message, so that I will explain everything to your understanding.

May God bless you,
Miss Fatoumata I. Coulibaly.
